Slow Cooker Beef Stew
I loved this hearty beef stew in the slow cooker. It is quite easy to make and delicious! Really warms you up on a cool fall or winter day. Set it & forget it!
Ingredients:
2 lbs cubed Beef - I used sirloin tip, but many cuts including stewing beef, chuck steak and others will work well!
3 Potatoes, diced
3 Carrots, sliced or chopped
1 medium yellow onion, diced
~1.5 cups cremini mushroom, sliced
1 large can (796 ml) fire roasted diced tomatoes (organic if possible)
1 small can (398 ml) tomato sauce (organic if possible)
4-5 celery sticks, sliced
1 cup frozen peas
1 container organic beef broth (946 ml)
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1-2 tsp Better Than Bouillon beef (or to taste)
2 tsp garlic salt or 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced (or both!)
Salt & Pepper to taste
3 bay leaves
2 sprigs of rosemary
Directions:
Add all ingredients to crock pot, except peas
Turn on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours
Add in peas during the last 15 mins of cooking
Serve and Enjoy!
